Worship

Worshiping God is our high privilege! After all, we are a community of the rescued—brands plucked from the burning—so it’s an incredible thrill and joy to gather together and celebrate our great God and Savior.

Our worship gatherings are celebrations of who God is and what He has done. We may explore one of His attributes, such as His faithfulness, mercy, or love. We may celebrate one of His acts—creation, redemption, or forgiveness, for example. Or we may champion one of His titles—Provider, Good Shepherd, Most High.

In our worship gatherings we seek to allow the word of God to shape how we respond to God.  Sometimes we sing settings of the Psalms, and sometimes we sing settings of other passages of scripture.  Beyond our singing, we often include individual or congregational readings from God’s word.

The musical style is primarily contemporary but is often blended with traditional hymns. We like a diversity of instruments, too: guitar, piano, keyboard, bass, percussion, violin, clarinet, saxophone, recorder, trombone… and we’re always ready to add more! You’ll find a broad range of age-groups using their talents and abilities to lead us in worship.

So why not join your heart and voice with ours? He is SO worthy!
